Kafi A. Joseph has led sports, military, manufacturing, and strategy teams in four countries; crafted logistics plans to optimize operations, providing timely support to customers in austere locations; and brainstormed with and learned how to create value for clients with some of the best consulting minds.
A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Information Science. Kafi also holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University and a Master of Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
Kafi served in the US Army on active duty from 2003 to 2008 where her assignments included: Platoon Leader, Camp Walker, Korea; Platoon Leader in the 3rd US Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) Arlington, VA; Battle Captain, Baghdad, Iraq; and Admissions Officer, West Point, NY.
Upon leaving active duty in 2008, she served concurrently in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard’s 28th Infantry Division while employed in the private sector. In the National Guard, Kafi’s roles included: Division Provost Marshal Operations Officer; Planner for the FEMA Region III Homeland Response Force; and Company Commander for the 55 BSTB Headquarters Company – where she became a member of the Army’s Logistics Corps.
Post-military, Kafi’s career began at the strategy and technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton from 2008 to 2012. As a Lead Associate with Booz Allen, she consulted on strategic planning, organizational strategy, change management, and policy development projects. Kafi then relocated to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in late 2012 and stepped into a Program Launch Manager role with National Air Cargo where she expertly transformed concepts sold by the business development teams into comprehensive program launch and implementation plans. In late 2014, Kafi transitioned into a Project Management role at EnPro Industries’ (NPO) Fairbanks Morse Engine and advanced rapidly to become the Director of Program Management. In 2017, Kafi returned to her consulting roots, this time at Accenture (ACN) where she served as a Growth and Strategy Lead and is presently excited about growing our work and bringing innovative solutions for her clients at the US Patent and Trademark Office.
